MANCHESTER UNITED legend Paul Scholes has demanded Paul Pogba performed week in, week out in a Red Devils shirt.
Paul Pogba should be playing every week says pundit
Pogba scored twice in Manchester United’s Champions League victory over Young Boys on Wednesday.
The France World Cup winner netted with a stunning left-footed strike before cooly converting a penalty before half time.
Pogba has often been subject of criticism at United for a lack of consistency in his performances.
But Scholes believes the 25-year-old has no excuse not to shine every time he pulls on a United jersey.
If he passes the ball forward and runs, nobody in the world will be able to deal with him
The former England midfielder says no one in world football would be able to deal with Pogba if continues his form.
“With a player with that much ability, the size of him, the physical strength of him, the speed of him, he should be doing that every week,” Scholes said on BT Sport.
“Pass it to a forward and run.
"If he passes the ball forward and runs, nobody in the world will be able to deal with him, without a shadow of a doubt.”
Former United defender Rio Ferdinand was working alongside Scholes for the Champions League clash.
And he claims Paul Pogba is different to most modern-day midfielders.
“What’s great is I think a lot of midfielders these days play simple, play sideways,” Ferdinand said.
“He played forward there and followed his pass.
"It put the opposing midfielder under pressure there, takes him out the game.
“That allows him the chance and the opportunity to shoot.
“This boy’s got talent coming out of every pore.”
