IN DEMAND: The Rangers want Hreidarsson to join them
Gers want Hreidarsson, above, to join them on a summer Bosman move, just six months after Celtic approached the Portsmouth star.
But any move for the defender hinges on them guaranteeing a £10million bounty for automatic entry to the Champions League group stages by winning the SPL.
West Brom and newly-promoted Wolves also want the Icelandic star, but the lure of playing in front of 50,000 at Ibrox every other week appeals to Hreidarsson.
His agent Olafur Gardarsson said: “Moving to Rangers is a good option for him. They are a massive club with big ambitions and he would be keen to speak to them.”
