Neville was not happy with the performance of Bailly and Lindelof in Manchester United’s shock 3-2 defeat to Brighton.
However, the pundit has now backtracked on his comments after reviewing footage from his playing days.

Carragher picked the 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane from December 1998.
MANCHESTER UNITED vs TOTTENHAM: FOLLOW THE ACTION FROM OLD TRAFFORD!
I’m 23 years of age, all I can say is I’ve got to say sorry to Bailly and Lindelof for my criticism last week
United raced into a 2-0 lead with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scoring a brace.
But Neville was sent off after just 39 minutes, with referee Uriah Rennie awarding the right-back a second yellow card for a foul on David Ginola.
Sol Campbell scored twice in the second half to claim a point for Tottenham.
And almost 20 years on, Neville admits he let his side down.
“I’m 23 years of age, all I can say is I’ve got to say sorry to Bailly and Lindelof for my criticism last week,” Gary Neville said.
“Oh my god, no.
“I don’t know (what I said to the referee), it wasn’t good I don’t think.
“But that was the first half of the game, we went in 2-0 up.
“I remember Roy (Keane) saying something to me at half time and then I remember being stood in the tunnel watching the second half and thinking ‘hang on lads, hang on lads’.
“I remember the first goal went in and then the second one went in.
“The worst feeling in the world actually, because you feel you’ve let your team-mates down, you’ve let everyone down.
"Not good.”
Lindelof dropped to the bench for the visit of Tottenham in the Premier League tonight, whereas Bailly was left out of the squad altogether.
