Arsenal: You can build a team around Mesut Ozil says expert
That is the verdict of former Newcastle striker turned radio pundit Micky Quinn.
Ozil has once again come under criticism this season for his performances in Arsenal’s losses to Manchester City and Chelsea.
The German missed the 3-1 win over West Ham on Saturday with an illness, although reports claim he had a bust-up with head coach Unai Emery in training on Friday.
Emery has denied those claims but has demanded Ozil worked harder to keep his place in the team.

talkSPORT presenter Max Rushden says Ozil is a player Emery should build his Arsenal team around.
“He is such a glorious footballer,” Rushden said.
“If I was Mesut Ozil you’d say look ‘if you can build the team around me’, he’s that good."
But Quinn disagrees and says Ozil is not good enough when it comes to playing against the best teams in the top flight.

“I don’t think he is (that good),” Quinn replied.
“I don’t think he is when it comes to playing in the Premier League, top-four opposition.
“He can bully other teams but when I see him playing against the top four, I think the Premier League is too quick for him.
“He likes to play at a certain pace, he’s got silky skills, but he gets closed down against the top-four opposition.
