MANCHESTER UNITED are holding talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a deal for Layvin Kurzawa as they look to solve Jose Mourinho’s defensive concerns.

Jose Mourinho is desperate to get in another defender before today’s 5pm deadline with the Portuguese fearing his side could come up short this season at the back.
Deals for Leicester’s Harry Maguire and Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld are struggling to be completed and with time running out, United have turned to Kurzawa.
According to French newspaper L’Equipe, United chiefs are in discussions over a move for the left-back.
Wolves and Tottenham have also been linked with the France international with The Sun claiming the former are weighing up a £22m bid.
Reports suggest PSG Sporting Director Antero Henrique could consider selling Kurzawa as he looks to bring in Juventus defender Alex Sandro.
United have now made the move to take advantage of the situation and beat their Premier League rivals to the signature of the 25-year-old and finally land their fourth signing of the summer.
Mourinho sent a warning to executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward last week, telling him to expect a ‘difficult season’ if more players don’t arrive before today’s deadline.
”My CEO knows what I want and I still have a few days to wait and see what happens,” he said.
"The other clubs who compete with us are really strong and already have fantastic teams. Or they are investing massively like Liverpool, who are buying everything and everybody.
"If we don't make our team better it will be a difficult season for us."
While United must complete a deal for Kurzawa today, other European clubs will still be able to snap up their players with their deadline set for the end of the month.
Mourinho could lose the likes of Matteo Darmian before August 31 with Benfica, AC Milan and Napoli all showing interest.
