CHRIS WOAKES bowled one of the best spells of his international career to put England back in charge of the third Investec Test at Lord's.

The home side had toiled against Sri Lanka's top-order batsmen on a sunny afternoon having been bowled out for 416 on Friday.
However, cloud cover on Saturday morning and the renewed vigour of England's attack saw the tourists reduced to 218/6 by the time lunch came.
Alastair Cook could scarcely have asked for a better start from his bowlers but he had chosen not to open with England’s leading wicket-taker in Tests.
