The paceman was expected to lead the attack in the forthcoming tournament in India despite missing the limited-overs legs of the South Africa tour due to a side strain.
However, the 26-year-old has suffered a fresh injury setback and his place has been taken by Yorkshire's Liam Plunkett in the 15-man squad.
Really disappointed to have picked up another injury on my road to recovery. Gutted doesn't describe it. Good luck to the guys out there! ??????
