Michael Clarke injury is new blow for Australia's Ashes hopes
AUSTRALIA skipper Michael Clarke is facing an injury battle weeks before the Ashes begin after his side crashed to one of the heaviest defeats in their history in his absence yesterday.
England meet Australia in the Champions Trophy at Edgbaston on Saturday with Clarke needing specialist treatment on a lower back injury in a bid to be fit.
Australia were bowled out for just 65 by India in Cardiff in a warm-up match for the Champions Trophy to lose by a massive 243 runs.
