Australia raring to go after boot camp
AUSTRALIA entered this morning’s first Test against India in Melbourne having spent a batting boot camp focused more on mental work than technical ability.
Australia’s recent batting woes, which included 47 all out against South Africa in Cape Town and a dismal buckling to lose the Hobart Test against New Zealand, prompted the bosses to convene a camp at the MCG last week.
Wicketkeeper Brad Haddin said: “We’ve all got to perform. We’ve got to make sure we’ve got our game heads on and are ready to go.”
