The 46-year-old was world-famous in his first career as a boxer, becoming heavyweight world champion three times during a career in which he won 45 fights and lost just two.
But after retiring in 2012, Klitschko decided to pursue a career in politics.
He has since risen to the post of mayor of Kiev, the city that will host the Champions League final next month, and the role saw him make an appearance at the Champions League semi-final draw.
“The Ukrainian capital’s goal is to transform Kiev into a true sport city,” Klitschko said in broken English.
