Joseph Parker has fired a warning to Anthony Joshua
The two fighters are putting the final preparations together for their heavyweight unification bout tonight.
Parker and Joshua are fighting for four championship belts at Cardiff’s sold-out Principality Stadium.
However, the New Zealander allowed Sky Sports into his dressing room and he told them it is his “destiny” to beat his British opponent.
The 26-year-old appeared calm and confident as he spoke about making a mark on the world - but now he has to put his words into action.
“I am feeling good and confident,” Parker told Sky Sports.
I feel it is my destiny. I feel it is my time
“I am 100 per cent confident in what I can do in the ring.
“I wanted to make the fight happen that’s why I am here.
“I want to put on a great performance.
“I feel it is my destiny. I feel it is my time.
“I feel it is time for me to make my mark on the world and the heavyweight division.”

Joshua is hoping to unify the heavyweight division
Meanwhile, Sky Sports pundit Carl Froch believes Joshua will come out on top in the latter rounds because he shed 12lbs in the build-up to the fight.
“I think that’s good news because he is lighter so he is not going to be as exhausted as early,” Froch told Sky Sports.
“It will allow the Championship rounds - rounds nine to 12 - I’m hoping that will give him the energy he needs and that engine to finish strong if he needs to.
“This fight could be close and if it’s a points job then it could be tight.”
