Boxer Conor Benn reveals GRUESOME injuries after gutsy win over Cedrick Peynaud
CONOR BENN took to Twitter this morning to show off his two enormous black eyes after beating Cedrick Peynaud at York Hall last night.
Conor Benn made it through with his unbeaten record intact but showed signs of battle the next day
Benn was fighting as a professional for the 11th time on the Katie Taylor vs Jessica McCaskill card in east London.
But his unbeaten record looked in serious jeopardy when he was dropped twice in the opening round by the French 31-year-old.
The Brit’s father Nigel is a former world super-middleweight champion with nine successful defences and the 21-year-old showed all of his familial spirit to fight back and take the contest 57-54 on the referee’s scorecard.
However, the picture he posted the next morning showed exactly how difficult he had found it to get to 11-0.

“The only thing I showed in that fight was heart.
“I don’t know what happened tonight. It’s one of those things. You come and you bounce back stronger.
“When I done my jaw I came back better. I’ll learn from this.
