Conor McGregor: Irish boxing legend claims he can guide UFC star to Floyd Mayweather win
CONOR McGREGOR can beat Floyd Mayweather with the right coaching, according to one former boxing world champion.
Wayne McCullough believes he could coach Conor McGregor to victory over Floyd Mayweather
I can make Conor McGregor into a pure, professional boxer
Wayne McCullough was WBC bantamweight champion for 18 months between 1995 and 1997 before retiring in 2008 with a record of 27-7.
The Belfast-born fighter now wants to form a stable of Irish fighters under him including talents like Conor McGregor and Katie Taylor.
And McCullough is convinced that if McGregor wants to make the switch to boxing, he is the man who can give him the blueprint of how to beat Mayweather.
“Nobody knows how to beat him but if that fight does happen I can make Conor ready.
“I think I could train him in three months, but it’s another Irishman who lives around the corner from me and wouldn’t come to me — wouldn’t even respond to me.”
