Anthony Joshua is looking to become a three-time world champion as he faces Daniel Dubois for the IBF heavyweight title.

Joshua will take on Dubois at Wembley Stadium, which will be the former world champion’s return to the iconic venue for the first time since 2018. For Dubois, it will be the first time he has fought under the arch in London.

Since losing back-to-back fights to Oleksandr Usyk, Joshua has won four successive bouts including a knockout win over former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in March. The former two-time unified heavyweight champion has seen a career resurgence and is once again aiming to reach the top of the heavyweight division.

The 34-year-old is set to continue his return to the top against Dubois, who saw his unbeaten record snapped against Joe Joyce back in 2020. The Brit, who is set to defend the IBF title for the first time, rebounded with four straight wins before suffering a controversial loss to Usyk.

Following that defeat, the 27-year-old returned to winning ways against Jarrell Miller and shocked the world when he crushed Filip Hrgovic for the interim IBF title, and Dubois was later elevated to champion status after Usyk vacated the belt. The winner between Dubois and Joshua is expected to put themselves in the frame to fight the victor of Usyk-Tyson Fury II.
