Boxing news: Anthony Joshua message, Hearn predicts Wilder vs Fury 2, Canelo latest
Boxing news - Express Sport brings you the latest ongoings in the boxing world.
Eddie Hearn sends Anthony Joshua message
Eddie Hearn has revealed he intends to offer the winner of Deontay Wilder’s rematch with Tyson Fury a 50/50 split for a unification with Anthony Joshua. “For once I agree with my esteemed colleague [Frank] Mr Warren, the winner has to fight Anthony Joshua, there's no doubt about it,” Joshua's promoter told talkSPORT.
“Fury is talking a brilliant game for this fight and he's an excellent self-promoter. The fact is, we have made offers to Fury and Wilder of 60/40 way before they were actually as relevant as they are now and they both turned it down, so we have been actively trying to make this fight, we've been round the houses, it's been talked about for ages.
“60-40 to both and they wanted 50/50 when they weren't as relevant as they are now.
“Like I said in an interview the other day, maybe we will have to make that offer next but there's no point talking about a deal until that fight is over but when that fight is over we have got to get it made.”

Wilder vs Fury 2 prediction made by Eddie Hearn
I've heard a few things in the camp - it might be rubbish but I do think Wilder will win by stoppage
Matchroom Boxing chief Hearn believes Wilder KO Fury next weekend after hearing ‘The Gypsy King’ has had some trouble with his training camp.
"I've heard a few things in the camp - it might be rubbish but I do think Wilder will win by stoppage,” he said during the same appearance on talkSPORT.
“I hope he doesn't and I would love to see Tyson Fury make the fight because one thing is for sure - he will fight Anthony Joshua, he actually wants to and I know AJ wants to fight Tyson Fury.
"It's a very quick deal to make. Wilder said Joshua is not relevant.

Hearn explains why Joshua vs Fury would take place in Saudi Arabia
“He owns four belts and is the biggest star of the heavyweight division, so of course he is relevant, but he wants to fight the winner because he can't call himself the best otherwise."
Canelo Alvarez latest
Unified middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez has set his sights on facing Caleb Plant, according to Hearn.
The Mexican has been in negotiations to face Brits Billy Joe Saunders and Callum Smith, with his representatives fielding offers to the pair.
Both deals have been rejected, with it being claimed the 29-year-old’s team are trying to lowball the duo.
And Hearn has claimed the former WBO light-heavyweight champion is now keen to take on Plant, who is said to have already been approached by Golden Boy Promotions.
Hearn is well and truly perplexed by the decision, saying: "He’s [Plant] gonna want more than Callum and Billy."
