Love Island 2018: Winning couple revealed ALREADY? Here's the evidence
LOVE ISLAND 2018 is coming to an end tomorrow but the winners of the programme may have already been exposed if the trends of past winners are anything to go by.
Love Island teaser: Family members surprise the Islanders
There has been a lot of support for Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham who have been firm favourites throughout Love Island.
However, it looks as though they could be pipped at the post of the ITV2 reality contest.
Looking back at past contestants, all signs point to none other than Megan Barton-Hanson and Wes Nelson scooping the prize.
The first instalment of the programme was won by Jessica Hayes and Max Morley, the second by Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey while last year saw Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay claim a victory.
Looking back at past years, 22.6 years old is the average age of a winning couple.
Megan is 24 while Wes is 20 years old, bringing their average age to 22 meaning they’re almost the perfect candidates to take the £50,000 prize money.
But that’s not the only sign, as the hometowns of the victorious couples also point to Megan and Wes for a triumph.
Nathan hails from Essex, as does Kem, making it the place that has spawned the most Love Island winners.
So, Southend-on Sea resident Megan could make it a hat-trick for the county.
On top of that, former winners include models Jessica and Cara.
As the most popular occupation for a winner of the contest, could model Megan also be set for a win?
Viewers will have to wait until tomorrow’s final to find out.
Meanwhile, tonight will see the contestants take part in the long-awaited “Meet the Parents” episode.
Dani’s famous dad Danny Dyer will appear via video to have a chat with his daughter and Jack.
And it’s clear he’s bursting with pride for his eldest offspring.
“Oh my God I miss you,” Dani exclaims when she sees her dad and her mum Jo.
Danny then admits: “No listen, I will say, I got it wrong baby. I told you not to do it. We’re so proud of you, you are incredible.
“You’re an absolute hero babe.”
Dani then asks Danny what he thinks of her boyfriend.
He replies: “Babe, he’s lovely. He’s a proper geezer mate. You’ve found a right proper geezer in there.”
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
