BBC Weather forecast: SNOW warning confirmed - where and when UK will be hit MAPPED
BBC BREAKFAST’S weather report was revealed by Matt Taylor this morning, as he issued a warning over this weekend’s dropping temperatures, with the potential for snow.
BBC weather warns of showers throughout UK
Matt detailed the weather forecast for the end of the week and into the weekend on BBC Breakfast this morning.
Starting with today’s weather he said: “Today sees dry weather, however there will be a few showers here and there.
“The showers will be focusing through East Anglia and the east, but it’ll be a lovely day in the north and Northern Ireland and Wales.
“There will be a bit of march sunshine on your back, with double figures throughout.”

Matt moved on to this evening’s temperatures which included showers and dropping temperatures.
“We’ve got a few showers to begin with in East Anglia, while Wednesday morning could see some frost in the west.”
He went on to reveal the culprit for this sudden drop in temperature.
“It all ties in with this big area of low pressure which is staying out to the west of us.

“It will push some rain into the western areas, but on its eastern flank we will get much milder air.”
Although tomorrow will see much milder temperatures with double figure temperatures throughout England, it is destined to turn by the weekend.
“Tomorrow evening and overnight the low pressure is pushed back into the weekend.
“With this high pressure building in Scandinavia, and with that we will see the return of the eastern winds into the weekend.

“It’s going to be cold, and it’s going to be windy.
“Yes, I hate to say it, we could see the return of snow too, this weekend.
“Winter isn’t quite done with us yet.”
