Coronation Street spoilers: Pat Phelan to KILL Billy Mayhew as star gears up for exit?
CORONATION STREET fans have been left terrified that Pat Phelan will target Billy Mayhew as actor Connor McIntyre is set to leave the soap over the coming weeks.
Coronation Street: Billy tells Summer he won't look after her
Coronation Street viewers have seen the former vicar fall from grace as he moved from drug abuse, to heroin addict.
After turning to heroin with his brother Lee Mayhew (Richard Crehan) to quell his pain, Summer (Matilda Freeman) returned from her grandmother’s house, shocked to find her adopted father in a horrible way.
Devastated by Billy's state, Summer revealed that she no longer wants to live with him.
The second episode of the night saw an emotional Summer confiding in Pat (Connor McIntyre) about the horrendous turn of events.
Coronation Street: Pat may have marked his next target - but will Summer approve?
She revealed: “I skipped school to go and see Billy but he was with this weird man who said he was my uncle, and they were on drugs."
Equally as shocked, Phelan said: "I'll tell you what we're going to do, okay?
"Tonight you're gonna stay here with me and Eileen, and tomorrow we'll sort all of this out."
Although he ensured that he would fix the situation for Summer, viewers believed the villain’s words had a sinister undertone.

However, the scenes were deemed too graphic by viewers and quickly sparked outrage, leaving the soap with 82 complaints to Ofcom.
These complaints caused Ofcom to consider taking a closer look at the soap.
A spokesperson for the TV watchdog said: “We are assessing these complaints under our broadcasting rules, before deciding whether or not to investigate.”
Coronation Street continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on ITV.
