Poldark season 3: MAJOR character DIES as THIS huge secret is finally revealed
POLDARK brought the drama again this week, as the Cornish series killed off another one of its major characters amid a huge reveal.
Poldark: Tragic moment as Aunt Agatha dies
The BBC series has teased the true parentage of Elizabeth Warleggan’s (played by Heida Reed) baby for weeks as Ross Poldark (Aidan Turner), but this week the action finally came to a head when Great Aunt Agatha Poldark (Caroline Blakiston) revealed the truth to conniving George Warleggan (Jack Farthing).
Unfortunately, the 97-year-old - who had been planning for her mistaken 100th birthday party - died in her chair before she could tell a devastated Elizabeth what she’d done.
Filled with venom at the man who had moments earlier said there would be no birthday party this year after all, Agatha spat: “Warleggan heir - or is he? That was no eight month baby George. He was smooth and strong as a full term child.
“So maybe somebody got there before you?”

As the pieces fell into place, George seemed deeply stunned, but failed to subsequently reveal his newfound knowledge to his wife.
Just before passing away, Agatha desperately tried to tell Elizabeth the truth, but she ran out of time.
“My birthday party, my birthday party. I should not have told him I should not have told him,” she whispered.
The episode also saw Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson) struggle as her marriage to Ross Poldark (Aidan Turner) has hit the rocks once again. With the attentions of the dashing Lieutenant Hugh Armitage, it may not be long before she is unfaithful.
