Epic second trailer of Game of Thrones season seven has landed
Game of Thrones came back with a bang last night as season seven premiered with a shockingly huge twist – and it appears they will keep on coming.
In what some fans described as the “best opening scene ever”, Arya Stark (played by Maisie Williams) was secretly disguised as Lord Walder Frey and delivered a very passionate speech.
But as House Frey began to choke to death from their wine, it soon became clear all was not as it seemed before Arya unveiled herself.
As she watched on as many men died, she said: “Tell them winter came, tell them the North remembers.”

Following Arya’s massacre, actress Maisie Williams admitted she had always wanted her character to switch faces with one of the main stars.
Talking about the moment she heard about the scene, the 20-year-old told Entertainment Weekly: “When I heard first heard about the Faceless Men, I always thought it would be really cool if she switched faces with a leading character rather than an unknown person’s face,”
Discussing Arya’s murderous ways, Maisie confessed the young Stark is becoming a "monster".
She said: “It’s so f****d up! Even Arya is surprised she has so much power.”

Game of Thrones season seven: Maisie Williams admitted Arya Stark is turning into a "monster"
She’s turned into a bit more of a monster than she’s ever realised
“In that last moment she’s staring out at all those men dying, she’s turned into a bit more of a monster than she’s ever realised. I don’t think she’s sad about that but she’s got it on her mind.”
With Arya having the ability to impersonate anyone she kills, Maisie has thought up an excellent idea about how season eight could possibly end.
The British beauty would want her character to be the one who ends up on the Iron Throne but through a rather unusual way.

She continued: “I’ve always had this fantasy in the back of my head — I don’t think it’s a good ending and fans might not like it — but that somebody would sit on the Iron Throne at the end and then they whip their face off and it’s Arya instead. I’ve always had that dream.”
A trailer released teasing next week’s episode has left viewers ecstatic as Arya appears to be reunited with her direwolf from season one, Nymeria.
Game of Thrones season seven episode two will air next Sunday and will be simulcast in the UK at 2am on Sky Atlantic. Catch up on season one to seven on NOW TV.
