Jo told the presenting duo over the phone that she was in over £1000 of debt that she was unaware of until her long-term partner walked out on the family.
After saying the tragedy came just before her daughter's 11th birthday, Holly and Phil were full of sympathy for Jo's situation.
"I can just afford the gas and electricity that's necessary, let alone the extras that an 11-year-old girl wants," the caller admitted.

Clearly moved by the phone-in, Phillip, 56, announced that they would help out Jo by clearing her debt.
"Jo? It's our last day and we're going to sort your debt out. You're not in debt any more," Phil said.
Clearly overwhelmed by the amazing gesture, Jo thanked the team whilst fighting back the tears.
This Morning viewers were reduced to tears by Phillip's words, with one posting on Twitter: "#ThisMorning How you helped Jo with her debt! Brought a tear to my eye, I hope her summer is less stressful now. You're wonderful people."
Another questioned: "Why am I almost in tears with @Scofe and @hollywills saying they'll sort that lady's debt #ThisMorning."
