Twin Peaks 2017 season 3 spoiler: TWO huge dead characters back to haunt Agent Cooper
TWIN PEAKS finally returned to screens after a 25 year wait tonight with two huge characters coming back from the dead.
FBI Agent Cooper is back with Twin Peaks The Return
Laura Palmer, whose murder sparked the nineties drama, and her father Leland both popped up as Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle Maclachlan) returned to the red room for one of his foresightful dreams.
Actress Sheryl Lynn Lee reprised her role as the butchered teen with a warning for Cooper.
“Hello Agent Cooper, you can go out now,” she growled. “Do you recognise me?”
Cooper quizzed: “Are you Laura Palmer?”

“I am dead,” said the ghost. “Yet I live.”
Just moments later, her father Leland, who killed Laura while possessed by killer BOB before dying himself in the arms of Cooper in a grim prison cell, snarled: “Find Laura.”
However, the Twin Peaks revival has so far failed to the live up to the dizzy heights of its early nineties success when it regularly drew in audiences of over 34 million across the pond, pulling in just 506,000 live viewers in the US on Sunday night.
Twin Peaks continues on Sky Atlantic next Tuesday at 9pm on ITV.
