The 55-year-old daytime TV king is headed stateside and Babushka host Rylan will be stepping in for him on Wednesday and Thursday.
However, Phil, who has presented the flagship ITV show since 2002, said he wasn't fussed about someone else taking his place.
When asked by OK! whether he would be tuning in, he responded: "No, because I'll be in Los Angeles and I won’t care."
The presenter was also keen to stress that it was not a big deal, as he and co-star Holly Willoughby had both hosted the show with the Celebrity Big Brother winner before.
