The pair were discussing the furore surrounding Mr Taylor who was stopped by police at the weekend when he allowed his daughter's to pick daffodils from the side of the road.
Picking flowers from public places is a criminal offence but he was not impressed when a police officer prevented his children from doing so.
He filmed the incident claiming that it was an outrage that the daffodils were taken from his daughters, after they simply tried to put together a sweet bouquet for Mother's Day.
In the studio, Piers had no sympathy for Mr Taylor and lashed out at the father for refusing to pay one pound for a bunch of flowers from the supermarket.

He slammed: "If children start picking them then it's going to ruin it for everyone else.
"I bet Mr Taylor has a garden and it has a few flowers in it. He would be furious if I hopped over the fence and picked the flowers."
But, the 51-year-old then confessed that he had taken his daughter to pick flowers at the weekend, including daisies and dandelions.
Outraged by his hypocrisy, his co-host Susanna called out: "Call the police!"

However, Piers quickly clarified that they were plucking flowers from his own garden and they were not council-owned like those Mr Taylor had allowed his children to pick.
The brunette beauty was quickly forced to apologise, shouting out: "Hold out on calling the police."
She later propositioned Piers, cheekily teasing: "You can come round to my house at any time and pick the dandelions."
The light-hearted clash came after the pair quizzed Brexit MEP Daniel Hannan, who blasted Remoaners for claiming they could prevent Prime Minister Theresa May from triggering Article 50.

He slammed: "That's a complete fantasy. More people voted to leave the EU than anything ever before.
"Most of the 48 per cent, including the current Prime Minister and Nicky [Morgan], who you have in the studio, have accepted the result with good will.
"They want to make the best of it. I don't think we should allow a handful of irreconcilables to speak for us."
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.
