Sherlock series four: Tom Hiddleston stars alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in new 'trailer'
AMID rumours that Tom Hiddleston is joining the fourth series of Sherlock as the detective's older brother, the BBC have dropped a clip teasing the actor's arrival.
Hiddleston Joins the Sherlock team
The 35-year-old's name was linked to the drama after Mark Gatiss shared a photograph from last weekend's San Diego Comic-Con panel accompanied by the Hollywood star, alongside the caption: "Blud."
In turn, the picture sent the internet a blaze with speculation, and the BBC Store has now responded with a sneaky video, imagining what the British heartthrob's addition to the series would actually look like.
The tantalising footage integrates and Tom's appearance in fellow BBC series The Night Manager with the nail-biting conclusion of Sherlock's third cycle.
The online service captioned the clip: "'Blud' rumours are flying - but what could #Hiddlebatch actually look like? Watch this.."

During last week's star-studded event, the Sherlock cast also dropped the first trailer for the upcoming stint, teasing a typically dark three-episode run ahead.
The 90-second clip also gave a first look at Toby Jones' chilling character, which Moffat previously revealed is "one of Doyle's finest villains".
Sherlock series four will air on BBC One in 2017.
