Katie Price gets unexpected Loose Women replacement after calling in sick before live show
KATIE PRICE appeared to leave Loose Women bosses scrambling this morning when illness prevented her from attending a scheduled appearance as a panelist.
Katie Price could not attend Loose Women
Today's presenter Coleen Nolan told This Morning's Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford during the live cross-over that the 38-year-old, who joined the ITV show earlier this year, was unable to attend due to illness.
After joking that she "poisoned" her, Coleen added that one of today's scheduled guests - Olly Murs - would be taking her place.
Fortunately, the show had already planned a summer of male one-off panelists, however Olly's full appearance was certainly not expected.
"Katie, I'm very happy with the replacement," Coleen declared.

Writing on Twitter, one viewer said: "Rather have Olly Murs than Katie Price but please don't let Colleen cringe flirt #loosewomen."
"Well it looks like @ollyofficial is on the Loose Women panel replacing @MissKatiePrice ... Good luck, lad," someone else wrote.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that bosses of Loose Women are planning a huge summer shake-up in order to maintain its recent boost in ratings.
Luckily newcomers Katie and Vicky Pattison are expected to keep their seats, with recent guests such as Stephanie Davies, Martine McCutcheon and Ayda Field also thought to be in line for promotions to regular roles.

A source told The Sun: "There will be new faces in the Autumn alongside the existing women."
In a change from past years, the programme is also staying on-air throughout the summer.
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm.
