Season four of the Netflix drama sees officers disparage the fictional female inmates throughout and subject them to abuse.
They also went on to criticise the way the characters who run Litchfield Penitentiary talk about their experiences of war.
In one of the final episodes of the series, Lee Dixon (Mike Houston) is heard telling Baxter 'Gerber' Bayley (Alan Aisenberg) how he killed innocent people in Afghanistan.
"You get so mad, tired and bored [that you] just grab a farm kid and make him juggle live grenades until one blows up," the correctional officer happily shared.
