Spice Girls GEM ‘in talks’ to launch their own TV talent show?
THE three remaining members of the Spice Girls are reportedly in the process of launching their own TV talent show.
Spice Girls GEM are 'launching their new show'
Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner - now known collectively as GEM - are said to be discussing plans with the BBC but are yet to secure a deal with any broadcaster.
Their programme would unearth big music talents from the UK that could potentially match the global superstardom of the group themselves.
“It’s early days but Mel B, Emma and Geri are in talks about developing their own show,” a source told The Mirror.
The three-piece are continuing alone now that both Victoria Beckham and Melanie C have opted out of participating.

None of them are strangers to talent shows, with Mel B formerly a panelist on The X Factor and now working on America’s Got Talent.
Geri served as a judge on Popstars: The Rivals - the venture that made Cheryl Fernandez-Versini famous - and has also been a guest judge on The X Factor, whilst Emma hosted Channel 5’s short-lived show Don’t Stop Believing.
Their efforts come hot on the heels of the 20th anniversary of their debut single Wannabe, which launched them on a path to world domination.
Across their initial tenure they bagged a string of No1 singles, missing the top spot only once with Stop; as well as two Number One albums and a cult hit movie.

Melanie C and Victoria have abandoned ship
After Geri departed the group, they released one more album and two more singles as a quartet before going on a lengthy hiatus.
They finally reunited in 2007 to tour the world again and release a Greatest Hits set, although their then-new single Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) couldn’t even hit the Top 10, let alone Number One.
Since then, the girls have only sporadically focussed on their own music careers; with Geri’s latest single Half Of Me spectacularly flopping in Australia and Mel B’s For Once In My Life doing similarly poorly in the US.
Only Melanie C has enjoyed continuing success; and hit No14 with Matt Cardle in 2013 as a guest vocalist on his track Loving You.
