Hosted by Clare Balding, it replaced the long-running Today At Wimbledon presented by John Inverdale, but was criticised for its informal style.
This year will see a return of the fans' favourite, with Balding joined by two expert guests each evening.
It will be live from inside the All England Club, with a new studio next to Henman Hill overlooking the grounds.
It's an honour to join the BBC team this year
Announcing its plans for the championships, the BBC revealed that former world number ones Lleyton Hewitt and Jim Courier would be joining the team, as well as ex-British number one Annabel Croft.
Mr Hewitt said: “It's an honour to join the BBC team this year. I won my second major championship singles title at Wimbledon, and have so many great memories from the tournament, so it's going to be really exciting to be covering the action.“
Also contributing to coverage will be 2015 Davis Cup-winning coach Leon Smith, John McEnroe, Tim Henman, Martina Navratilova, Marion Bartoli, Pat Cash, Lindsay Davenport, Richard Krajicek, Mary Pierce and Tracy Austin.

Sue Barker, who will continue to lead the Wimbledon coverage, will also give insight into Navratilova's life in a documentary called Just Call Me Martina, to be aired on July 4.
As well as looking at her achievements on the court - winning 344 singles and doubles titles - the programme will give unprecedented access into Navratilova's personal life, including her New York wedding to long-term partner Julia Lemigova.
