You'll never BELIEVE what 'Plain Jane Superbrain' Harris from Neighbours looks like now...
SHE was the archetypal geek on Neighbours back in the Eighties, thanks to her intelligence and those huge specs, but Australian actress Annie Jones looks very different to her days as Jane Harris.

The now 49-year-old portrayed the role of "Plain Jane Superbrain" between 1986 and 1989 and returned to the show in 2005 to make a cameo in the 20th anniversary special of the soap.
During her time on the long-running series, Jane had a number of storylines but perhaps the most memorable and high profile was her make over.
Jane radically changed the way she looked by ditching the heavy glasses in favour of make-up and dressing in a more sexy way to attract the attentions of Mike Young, played by Hollywood star Guy Pearce.
The super smart teen also hid her intelligence in order to charm Mike.

Annie won critical acclaim for her performance as Jane Harris and was awarded a Logie for Most Popular Actress - one of the highest TV accolades Down Under.
She originally auditioned for the role of Charlene Mitchell, which ended up going to Kylie Minogue.
The role of Jane Harris also made her one of the most recognisable soap stars on the screen in the Eighties, alongside her co-stars Kylie, Guy and Jason Donovan.

Reflecting about her time on Neighbours and the level of fame, she said in an interview from 2014: “I have always just liked to live my life and just get on with things.”
“It was a crazy time, I must admit, but I made a lot of dear friends from that period. I think they [the Neighbours cast] are all fundamentally good people,” she told News.com.au.
Annie has had a successful career since she left the role of Jane with credits in The Flying Doctors and Blue Heelers, among many others.
More recently, she starred in Australian true crime drama Underbelly Files: Tell Them Lucifer Was Here and also in Wentworth, a reimagining of the seminal prison classic Cell Block H.
But she hasn’t forgotten her soap roots and appeared in Neighbours 30th: The Stars Reunite last year, a special documentary to mark another milestone anniversary.
She even teamed up with Guy for a bizarre music video for his song Fly All The Way in which they played a married couple.
