The former professional snooker player was slammed online last night, after he threw a strop while taking part in BBC One's Famous, Rich and Homeless.
The 62-year-old was accused of "missing the point" as he failed to stick it out, unlike his co-stars Julia Bradbury, Nick Hancock and Kim Woodburn.
People at home watched on as, after two nights outside and very little sleep, Willie dropped out.
One viewer took to Twitter to rant: "Not sure Willie 'I just need a night in a hotel' Thorne has quite got into the spirit of #famousrichandhomeless."

One further tweet added: "Willie Thorne has a night in a hotel and then goes for a free breakfast… really? And Kim needs to wind her neck in too #famousrichandhomeless."
The programme, which was overseen by Big Issue founder John Bird, was also praised for its "eye-opening" content.
Famous, Rich and Homeless returns next Wednesday on BBC One at 9pm.
