The Channel 4 comedian, 39, singled out the fun-loving Royal as his most-wanted Chatty Man guest after hitting it off with him on the dance floor.
"I love Prince Harry, he would be great," he told Lorraine Kelly on her programme today. "And he looks a laugh, doesn't he?"
"I met him once in a night club. He said 'where's your glasses?', and I was like, 'woo!'"
Alan went on: "Then we started dancing together and I got carried away and I pulled his tie and we were on the floor rolling.

His security are rubbish because I wasn't even tasered
"I mean, his security are rubbish because I wasn't even tasered! You know what I mean? But he is lovely."
Chatty Man moves to a new Thursday night slot from tonight, and its host revealed that Lady Gaga is arguably the most drunk guest he's ever had on.
"Lady Gaga had so much whiskey, she was wearing this green latex dress and she needed the loo and she couldn't get to the loo so she had to wee in a waste paper bin," he explained.
"If she's gonna wear those outfits, it's her own fault! she was running and then next thing you know…"
Alan said he'd love the Royal to come on his show
His guests tonight include Matthew Perry and Phillip Schofield, and he said he is happy with the show's new scheduling - which means it avoids a clash with The Graham Norton Show on BBC One.
"They moved it because Thursday is the new Friday, with 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown," he said. "I think it's going to be good."
Lorrane airs daily at 8:30am on ITV. Alan Carr: Chatty Man returns to Channel 4 tonight at 10pm.
