GREASE: LIVE finally arrived on UK screens this evening and was immediately met with a huge standing ovation from fans as the all-American cast nailed the stage adaptation of the most-loved musical in town.

British singing sensation Jessie J opened the show with an immaculate rendition of the film's opening title, Grease Is The Word, before the show kicked off in full swing.
With spectacular sets, powerhouse vocals and flawless performances throughout, Twitter was overcome with praise.

Audiences were stunned by Julianne Hough as Sandy
The 27-year-old actress informed fans on Twitter that she would still be braving the show, despite receiving the worst news imaginable.
She wrote: "I am so sad to say that last night my daddy, Greg passed away from stage 4 cancer.
"Thank you to everyone who kept him in your prayers. Tonight, I do the show in his honour," she added.
The High School Musical star publicly announced her father's struggle with cancer back in August 2015, while attending the Industry Dance Awards.

She said: "Last year, my boyfriend, Austin [Butler], lost his mom, Lori to cancer and my dad has just been recently diagnosed with stage four cancer.
"Let me tell you, I hate cancer. I hate cancer with every cell of my being."
