Michelle Dockery talks Downton Abbey finale in first interview since fiance's death
SHE'S had her fair share of heartbreak in real life, and now Michelle Dockery has revealed that the last ever episode of Downton Abbey all leave viewers feeling sad.
Michelle Dockery was seen on screen for the first time today since the death of her fiance
The interview, which was pre-recorded on set earlier this year, is the first time the 34-year-old actress has been seen on screen since the tragic death of her fiancé John Dineen.
The Irishman lost his battle with cancer on December 13, and was laid to rest last week. Michelle had cut short a promo trip in the US to be by his bedside in his final days.
Speaking to Richard Arnold on Good Morning Britain, the pretty brunette said: "We've had some dramas. There's still lots of twists and turns in the special and I think the audience will be sad, but it ends on a positive note."
It's unsure who Michelle will be spending her Christmas following the death of John, 34.

She gave the eulogy as she led mourners at the PR consultant’s funeral in Cork last week, where she described him as "my friend, my king, my hero, my everything".
Michelle, who plays Lady Mary Crawley in the hit period drama, began dating John in September 2013 after being introduced by her Downton co-star Allen Leech.
It was rumoured that the pair had gotten engaged after Michelle had apparently been seen excitedly showing off her diamond ring during screen tests for the latest series of Downton Abbey.
However, the actress never spoke publicly about her love life.
In September 2014, she simply said: “I have a wonderful man in my life from Ireland. We were introduced by Allen Leech. That’s all you need to know.”
Downton Abbey: The Finale will air on ITV1 at 8:45pm on Christmas Day.
