COLEEN NOLAN proved what a professional presenter she is when she expertly handled an extremely awkward interview with Seal, which saw the singer slam the Nolan Sisters.
Seal insults Coleen Nolan on Loose Women
Coleen was left reeling after Seal branded the trio's hit Eighties track In The Mood For Dancing as 'scraping the barrel' during yesterday's Loose Women.
However, loyal Nolan fans were quick to leap to their defence and slammed 52-year-old Seal's "rude" comments as "arrogant" and "pretentious".
The Love's Devine hitmaker explained that he'd been played the Nolans' song backstage and had described it as "scraping the barrel".
Show bosses were quick to warn him that Coleen was one of the panelists who would be interviewing him later on, but the defiant singer insisted on repeating the story to Coleen during the interview.

Coleen was praised for her professional reaction
Coleen appeared shocked at the comments and pulled a disgruntled expression before swiftly sweeping over the comments and carrying on with the interview.
Clearly impressed with the professional way Coleen handled the interview, viewers took to Twitter to praise the star, while they slammed Seal.
One user wrote, "@loosewomen @Seal That had to be one of the most awkward interviews I've watched!" while another complained, "#seal far too closed off and boring and slating Coleen and correcting everyone. Pompous and pretentious #boreoff @loosewomen @Seal".
Another simply commented: "Thought @RuthieeL &@NolanColeen handled the interview well He was so rude and condescending."
Appearing to regret airing his controversial opinions on the lunchtime chat show, Seal later defended himself by insisting that the comments were a just a joke.
