PETER ANDRE has catapulted himself back to the top of the leader board as his Charleston earned the singer the highest score of the series so far.

With a grin to rival the Cheshire Cat throughout his routine to Basement Jaxx's Do Your Thing, the pop star stole the show and once again looked ready to walk away with the Glitterball trophy.
"Absolute showstopper, your best dance," boomed Len who brushed off his recent knee surgery to praise the star with a standing ovation.
Bruno gasped an actual "wow" before describing the routine as "goofy slapstick comedy and music hall style, elements of lindyhop".
Even Craig called the performance "absolutely exceptional."

And they stuck true to their word and gave the father-of-three the scores he's been waiting all series for.
With two perfect 10s and a couple of nines, Peter mustered up a cool 38 points and plonked himself back as favourite to win the whole contest.

Perhaps what's more impressive is Peter's admission that he hasn't even had time to rehearse while he promotes his new swing album, Come Fly With Me.
Writing in his new! column, he explained: “Life is really full-on at the moment.
"I’ve been missing some Strictly rehearsals - which isn’t great - as I’m still busy promoting my album, but I can’t really complain because it reached the top five in the charts.”

At the other end of the leader board sits Carol Kirkwood whose American Smooth to Shania Twain's Man I Feel Like a Woman received an astonishingly harsh response from scathing judge Bruno Tonoili, who called the BBC Breakfast wether girl "pretty-proof".
