Jeremy Clarkson gives fans first glimpse of new Amazon show as filming kicks off
FANS of the old Top Gear were treated to a glimpse of Jeremy Clarkson's new show last night on Twitter.
Jeremy Clarkson has shared the first glimpse of his new Amazon Prime show
The 55-year-old presenter took to the social media site to reveal the first behind-the-scenes glimpse of his new venture with Richard Hammond and James May.
It came after Jeremy hinted that filming oh the highly-anticipated series was to kick off yesterday.
Confirming what all fans had been waiting for, the outspoken star shared an image of him and his co-stars posing in front of three impressive sports cars.
The snap, which looks like it was taken at a racing track, also featured a large group of people – suspected to be the crew behind the £160million show.
James May also celebrated his first day with a Twitter snap
Alongside the snap, Jeremy wrote: "With a skeleton crew, filming for Amazon Prime's new motoring programme has begun."
Richard retweeted the image, adding: "Great first day at work. I can't stop staring."
James also got in on the act, posting an image of a red Lamborghini.
"Great first day at work. I can't stop staring," he wrote.
The very best of Jeremy Clarkson
Although the gang's location has not yet been confirmed, they appear to be somewhere exotic.
Yesterday, Jeremy shared picture of the sun rising over the top of some palm trees, and wrote: "Dawn. On a very special day," to his 5.6 million followers.
Much information about the Amazon Prime series is still a well-kept secret, including its all important name.
Last month it was reported that the new series will be called Gear Knobs or Gear Nobs as a tongue-in-cheek dig at their former BBC show.
It is unknown what the trio's new show will be called
