Strictly viewers are not keen on the Sunday night results show changes and blamed head judge Shirley Ballas
Strictly Come Dancing viewers have hit out at the BBC after they were left baffled by changes to the show’s format this year.
Strictly returned to BBC One on Sunday night for the first results show of 2024, where two couples will be forced to dance off and one duo will be eliminated for the first time this series.
But a change to the Sunday show - which was actually filmed on Saturday night - has led to complaints from viewers.
Firstly, the show didn’t open with the pros dance as it usually does, but instead had Tess and Claudia introduce proceedings before switching to the pros dance some minutes later.
And then the judges including Craig Revel-Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Motsi Mabuse got involved in the pros dance, which traditionally has been reserved for only the pro dancers with one viewer suggesting head judge Shirley must be kee on the new format.
It led to calls from some to change the format back.
