Watch: Holly Willoughby laughs as butcher says she 'likes a good sausage'
THIS MORNING appeared to be taking tips from The Great British Bake Off in the innuendo stakes today.
Holly Willoughby laughs on This Morning as she interviews a butcher
During a segment about the oldest butcher's shop in Britain, owner Richard Balson told presenter Holly Willoughby that he knew she liked "a good sausage". Cue laughter from co-host Phillip Schofield and the rest of the crew in the studio.
"I won the sausage award once," Holly replied as she giggled, while Phillip failed to keep a straight face as he stood next to her.
Holly's love of the meat product is well-known and she was even presented with the British Sausage Week Banger Award in 2009 by the British Sausage Appreciation society.
She was given a golden phallic-looking sausage trophy to go with her title, which Phillip made reference to today saying that Richard "should have seen the trophy".

Phillip then tried to move the conversation on from Holly's love of sausages and the innuendo by telling the butcher: "So anyway, let's talk about you."
Holly could be seen chuckling away before the interviewee reminded everyone that she was "partial to a sausage", causing more laughter all round.
But that wasn't the end of the sausage talk as entertainment correspondent Rylan Clark said: "I'm like Holly, I love a sausage," after he was offered some freshly cooked casserole made from the meat supplied by RJ Balson & Sons.

The presenters were interviewing Richard about his butchery, which celebrated its 500th birthday last week. RJ Balson & Sons is one Britain's oldest family businesses and has survived through wars, fires and plagues.
The Dorset butchers has been running since Tudor times and may even have supplied meat to Henry VIII. During its five centuries the shop has passed through 26 generations and has seen 23 monarchs sit on the English throne.
