Royal Marines: Mission Afghanistan
CHRIS Terrill follows the Royal Marines of 42 Commando as they prepare to return to Blighty after a six-month deployment in one of the most dangerous parts of Afghanistan.
Out of 100 men seven were killed in action and more than 50 suffered life-changing injuries.
Among the wounded are Simon Maxwell, Mick McConnell and Paul Vice, all victims of roadside bombs.
The military mission they were part of was deemed a great success but their lives will never be the same again.
Terrill’s previous films have been shown worldwide and have received many awards, including an Emmy for outstanding investigative journalism.
