Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham lead Prime Video's hilarious yet thrilling assassin drama.

Streamer Prime Video is about to drop a highly anticipated series which sees Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham play international assassin, Judith Burton. Ride or Die also stars Octavia Spencer as Debbie Claybourne, the wife of an MP and Judith's best friend, whose life is turned upside down when she discovers Judith's real job.
Spencer and Waddingham, who also executive produce the series, have already been seen in the hilarious trailer, which shows Judith and Debbie's beautiful friendship. Things take a dramatic turn when the pair find themselves shot at and chased by enemies, which forces Judith to reveal her true identity. Here is all you need to know about the upcoming series.
What is the Ride or Die release date?

Ride or Die follows the two best friends who thought they knew everything about each other, except Judith turns out to be an international assassin.
The synopsis continues: "When a mysterious figure emerges from Judith’s past and a hit goes horribly wrong, both of their worlds are turned upside down as they’re forced to go on the run together.
"It’s a race against time and a road trip across Europe, with law enforcement, highly trained assassins, and some very dangerous criminals at their heels."
The series will be released on Prime Video on Wednesday, July 15 and episodes should be available to watch from midnight.
Who is in the cast of Ride or Die?

Besides Spencer and Waddingham, the series also stars Hollywood legend Bill Nighy as The Director, and Deadpool star Ed Skrein as Billy Donovan.
Dutch actress and model Sylvia Hoeks plays Ana, along with Bridgerton star Calam Lynch as Sam and Good Boy actress Savannah Steyn as Queenie.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child star Jamie Parker plays David, with Bridgerton's Kathryn Drysdale as Amanda.
Rounding off the cast is Fernando Santos as Diego and Jackie Ido as Jacques.
How many episodes are in Ride or Die?

The series is made up of eight episodes, which are all dropping at the same time on Prime Video, so fans can binge to their hearts' content.
Actress Waddingham told Harper's Bazaar she accidentally broke down a door whilst filming the series. When asked about what her most chaotic moment was that didn't make the final cut, she said: "Maybe kicking a door so hard on a train that I knocked it off its hinges.
"I don't even remember doing it. I just didn't realise I had done it."
