Former GB News star Isabel Webster has confirmed that she has a new presenting job lined up. Posting to her Instagram account, she delighted fans with a post about what was next for her career.

The former GB News presenter, 43, who previously co-hosted the channel's breakfast programme with Eamonn Holmes, 65, from 2022 until her unexpected departure last December, has confirmed her next move. She was succeeded by Ellie Costello, 32, on the show. In her social media post, she shared a promo picture announcing that she will be presenting on Channel 5's Matt Allwright show. It read: "Delighted to be hosting the brand new (and brilliant) 'Matt Allwright' show on Channel 5 for the next few Fridays." The poster added that it would air between 12:50 and 2pm each week. Following her GB News departure, Isabel launched her own podcast, New Chapters, whilst continuing her column work. Back in December, she hinted at her return to mainstream television - though remained tight-lipped about which channel would feature her from January.

Posting to her Instagram at the end of last year, she wrote: "Merry Christmas. As the year draws to a close, I'm feeling incredibly grateful - and quietly excited for what's ahead...

"In 2026, I'll be returning to the presenting chair... do keep an eye out for me on your TV screens this January (clue: you'll find me on terrestrial) [wide eye emoji].

"Alongside that, I'll be beginning production on Season Two of my podcast, continuing with my column, and stepping into a number of other genuinely exciting projects that I can't wait to share with you."

She finished: "Thank you for the support this year - here's to new chapters, new conversations, and a brilliant year ahead.

"But for now, I am wishing you a peaceful, restful and happy Christmas."

Her 25,000 followers rushed to the comment section, with one writing: "Lovely to see you back on the [TV emoji]. Keep up the good work. Merry Christmas to you and your family."

A second enthused: "Yyyeeesss, Isabel back on the box & on terrestrial...Now that's a proper start to a New Year & my month January...can not wait."
