Thanks to Rotten Tomatoes, there are several television shows that have scored a perfect 100% approval rating. These are the shows that have gone above and beyond expectations and stand out from the rest of the crop. From a hit animated series to a BBC sitcom, there is a wide variety to choose from, but they all have the same thing in common: exceptional quality. We've rounded up the top 10 series that have been so impressive over the years - and where you can start watching them.
Jane the Virgin
This romantic comedy series, which starred Gina Rodriguez as Jane Villanueva, ran for five seasons and consistently maintained its perfect 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes score.
Praised for being heartfelt and funny, it can be streamed on Netflix or for free on ITVX. It follows the story of Jane who vows to remain a virgin until marriage, but becomes artificially inseminated by accident.

The Bear
This is one of the most talked-about shows on telly right now. Starring Ayo Edebiri and Jeremy Allen White, the series is best known for tackling the reality of the restaurant industry.
Season one was a huge hit on Disney+, and the second season was just as brilliant, with both series keeping up their 100 per cent score on the rating website.
Fleabag
Phoebe Waller-Bridge shot to fame after starring and writing this BBC sitcom, which only lasted two seasons. It has a 100 per cent critics score, mainly for its excellent writing and witty humour, and the ability to tackle emotional subjects.
Hacks
This series on HBO Max has managed to impress critics with its two seasons so far. After premiering in May 2021, the show focuses on female friendship and stars Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder as a Las Vegas comedian and a 25-year-old castaway.

Feel Good
Despite being cancelled by Netflix after just two seasons, Feel Good scored a perfect 100 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Starring Mae Martin as a recovering addict, the series was praised for its exploration of life and love and for being excellently layered with humour and emotion.
Counterpart
This Starz series, which includes Oscar-winning actor JK Simmons, revolves around a spy who works with his alter ego in a parallel world. It was sadly axed after just two seasons, but received widespread acclaim on Rotten Tomatoes and secured a solid 100 per cent approval rating across both.
Los Espookys
Premiering on HBO Max in 2018, Los Espookys is a Spanish series that was commended by critics. It follows a group of friends who made people's horror dreams become a reality, and despite winning an award, it was cancelled in December 2019.

Somebody Somewhere
Premiering on Max in 2022, Somebody Somewhere was created by Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen and focuses on finding community after losing a loved one. The two seasons captivated critics and audiences and can be streamed now on Now TV.
Avatar: The Last Airbender
This hit animated series ran for a successful three seasons, with each season being considered better than the last. Although the live-action film was a flop, the original series was a huge triumph and follows the story of Aang, an Avatar who wielded the powers of Earth, Fire, Air, and Water.
Vida
Airing in 2018, Vida focuses on two sisters who are forced to move back to their childhood neighbourhood, where the shocking truth about their past comes to light. It ran for three seasons and aired its final episode on May 2020.
