CNN interrupted as Donald Trump 'breaking news' sparks tense row on air
After a huge breaking news announcement about Donald Trump's health, questions were asked about why Biden's health hadn't been placed under the same scrutiny.
Donald Trump is currently "in very good health", according to the doctor who recently examined him. CNN issued a breaking news alert as they discussed how, despite heightened cholesterol in his arteries, he has been given the all-clear overall.
His health has been a hot topic in recent times, with one journalist audibly sneering as he asked at a press conference: "Can you explain to me how a guy who eats McDonald's and fried chicken and all those Diet Cokes and never exercises is in as good shape as you say he's in?" His White House rep confidently shot back: "It's called genetics. Some people have just great genes - I told the President that if he had a healthier diet over the last 20 years, he might live to be 200 years old, I don't know!"
The same rep confirmed that he did "not have heart disease", after someone argued: "He had a CT scan before that showed calcium in his coronary blood vessels."
He confirmed that he had been diagnosed with "non-clinical coronary atherosclerosis", which the NHS describes as a condition "where your arteries become narrowed, making it difficult for blood to flow through them".
While it can lead to an increased risk of heart attack and stroke, it is not necessarily heart disease in itself.
CNN hosts looked at his Coronary Calcium Score, which shot up from 34 in 2009 to 133 less than a decade later, pointing out: When you get over 100, it could increase your chances of having a heart attack in the future, which is why there's such a focus by doctors on evaluating his heart and cholesterol."

However, one disgruntled commentator over on X demanded to know why the same health scrutiny had not been shown towards Democrat leader Joe Biden when he was in office, in spite of alleged fears he had "dementia".
"Have a look at how interested CNN was about Trump's health during his first term. They sent Sanjay Gupta to the press briefing to question Trump's doctor about his test results. Gupta even declared that Trump had heart disease," the tweeter exclaimed.
"This same network lost all interest in Presidential health and fitness for office during the Biden years. Shame on CNN and all you losers that work there."
Biden caused concerns by forgetting the name of the country he was in, trying to sit on chairs which were not there and even "hugging an imaginary person" in one piece of video footage - and sadly he has now been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer, too.
