EastEnders is set to air a bumper-packed week of action as the iconic BBC soap celebrates its 40th anniversary.
This week, two dramatic showdowns trigger an unmissable series of events, culminating in The Vic going up in flames with a number of characters inside.
The aftermath of the explosion, which will take place during the live episode, sees several Walford residents fighting for their lives.
Elsewhere in the episode, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) will finally choose between her two love interests Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and Ravi Gulati- (Aaron Thiara) - but that decision was in the hands of viewers as they were given the power to vote in an interactive soap first.
