ITV Good Morning Britain halted as host makes I'm A Celebrity announcement
On Good Morning Britain today, Richard Arnold announced the new ITV I'm A Celebrity...Unpacked spin-off show and its new presenters.
Joel Dommett announced as the I'm A Celeb spin-off host
Good Morning Britain viewers were in for a treat on Tuesday when Richard Arnold halted the programme with an exciting revelation about the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! franchise.
The much-anticipated spin-off show was announced, with Joel Dommett and Sam Thompson set to host the ITV series, which is making a comeback after a four-year hiatus. Radio presenter Kemi Rodgers will also join the duo, both of whom are former jungle contestants themselves.
Interrupting the broadcast, Richard declared: "It's only three weeks until the return of I'm A Celeb...Get Me Out Of Here! but I can reveal exclusively to you that 2024 will bring you even more jungle action because, for the first time in four years, we are getting a brand new spin-off show, I'm A Celebrity...Unpacked."
He didn't stop there, teasing viewers further by saying: "If you think that's the only news you're getting today, we have only gone and bagged the presenter of the new shows, so introducing your new I'm A Celebrity...Unpacked host, reveal yourself," reports the Mirror.

The studio buzzed with excitement as Joel Dommett made his entrance onto the ITV set.
Once settled on the sofa, Joel faced questions about the upcoming celebrity line-up for the main show and whether he had any insider knowledge.
Joel responded with a hint of mystery: "It seems like every show I work on is veiled in secrecy.."
Co-host Charlotte Hawkins probed further: "They're not telling you anything? Is that what's going on?"

To which Joel confirmed, with a touch of amusement: "They don't tell me anything with The Masked Singer; they don't tell me anything with the jungle. I think it's better that way."
Joel confirmed his co-presenters on the show, revealing to the hosts: "This is the gang."
Richard then quizzed Joel on managing Sam's exuberance, remarking: "Sam's enthusiasm knows no bounds.
He recounted an amusing incident, saying: "Even this morning, when you had a script that was around it, he was like, 'Oh my god, yellow paper.' It is just paper, Sam."
The conversation quickly shifted to speculation about potential guests for this year's series, and those tipped to join the line-up include Coleen Rooney, N-Dubz star Tulisa, acclaimed performer Richard Gadd, and GMB's own weather expert Alex Beresford.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
