Who Wants To Be A Millionaire made a thrilling comeback on Sunday evening, offering contestants another shot at the grand prize. One hopeful, Kevin Leetion, had everyone in the studio, including host Jeremy Clarkson, on the edge of their seats, convinced he might just clinch the top prize.

Kevin Leetion sailed through to £125,000 without using any lifelines and even set his second safety net at that amount. Host Jeremy Clarkson couldn't hide his excitement, saying: "My fingers are crossed here for something very special."

He successfully navigated the next couple of hurdles, finding himself on the cusp of a whopping £500,000. However, faced with a particularly challenging question, Kevin opted not to risk a guess.

Even after phoning a friend, the answer remained elusive. But do you think you could have cracked it?, reports Birmingham Live.

The million-pound question was: According to their official measurements, which of these paintings is the smallest?

The options on the table were: A) The Starry Night, B) Mona Lisa, C) Girl With a Pearl Earring, and D) American Gothic.

Choosing prudence over gamble, Kevin walked away with a handsome £250,000. Curiosity piqued, Jeremy asked what his hunch would have been, and it turned out to be a stroke of luck that Kevin didn't wager, as his guess was off the mark.

Jeremy Clarkson disclosed that the correct answer was indeed Girl With a Pearl Earring, before lauding the contestant as a 'great, great player'. The reveal sent shockwaves across the audience, with many viewers expressing their astonishment, having been certain the Mona Lisa was the correct answer.

One viewer expressed their disbelief, tweeting: "I would of lost sure it was the mona Lisa," accompanied by an emoji of shock. "I was wrong.....and more poverty-stricken," lamented another, reflecting on the surprising turn of events.

Kevin received plaudits for his vast knowledge, with one admirer commenting: "WOW 250k that was Amazing thought he was going all the way."

Another added their voice to the praise, stating: "Wow wow wow he was AMAZING."
