After the first episodes of the sixth and final season of Cobra Kai released on Netflix last week, star of the show, Ralph Macchio, who plays Daniel LaRusso, has shared some behind the scenes pictures.

The actor took on directing duties for the third episode of the series and took the opportunity to share his thoughts on the incredible moment in his career.

Alongside eight pictures of him in director mode, he penned: "BTS Directing Ep 603 @cobrakaiseries on @netflix - A major highlight for me on this journey!

"I’m so immensely proud of my amazing cast, crew and stunt team! Launched arcing storylines and introduced dynamic characters for this season! Built new relationships and deepened old ones.

"Thank you to our show’s creators for the opportunity. I hope you enjoy it. Let me know your favorite moments. I have so many. Would love to hear yours. - RM," the actor concluded.

The streaming platform released the first five episodes last Wednesday but unlike past seasons, the final instalment will be split into three parts of five episodes each.

After binge-watching the five episodes, fans have been left "annoyed" over now having to wait until November for the next five.

Cobra Kai viewers have flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to air their frustrations over having to wait four months for the next set as fans all said the same thing.

One unamused X user commented: "It doesn't even feel like Cobra Kai is back cause we have to wait 4 months for another 5 episodes then another 4 months for another 5 episodes."
