Josie Gibson dealt a blow to co-host Ben Shephard live on air while handing out presents.

The Bristol-born presenter had been filming in Dortmund, Germany, for This Morning for the show on Wednesday, July 10. She was dispatched overseas for work ahead of the nerve-wracking semi-final between England and the Netherlands - with Gareth Southgate's team clinching victory in the final moments thanks to an outstanding goal from Ollie Watkins.

Back in the ITV studio on Thursday, Josie was brimming with enthusiasm and brought gifts for hosts Ben and Cat Deeley. However, things got a bit uncomfortable when she started handing out the presents but seemed to overlook the Tipping Point host.

As she passed over the items she'd picked up on her trip, she gave them both a bottle of beer and a box of chocolates. But Ben's box of sweets had been tampered with. As he examined the already opened and half-empty box, he queried: "Have you nibbled my chocolates?" reports the Mirror.

Josie admitted: "What happened was I'm a midnight fridge raider, and I've eaten half of yours. Sorry about that." She continued: "But to makeup for it... it did melt because it was really hot in Dortmund... so I've got you a little trinket and some half-eaten chocolates."

"That looks so appealing," presenter Cat cheekily remarked. The I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here alum then handed the former SMTV Live icon a fresh box, reassuring her with: "Don't worry Cat, I didn't eat yours."

As she presented Cat with more scrumptious and untouched edible gifts, she gave Ben Shephard a consolatory pat on the shoulder, saying: "Sorry Ben."

Amidst Cat's excited exclamations, a disgruntled Ben retorted: "So I got a manky poodle-doodle and some half eaten chocolates? " Cat added insult to injury by quipping: "It's a bit melty but it'll taste good."

In other news, Josie Gibson has announced an exciting new venture beyond her ITV daytime role. The beloved television personality is set to host Magic Radio's barbecue Playlist every Saturday from 1-2pm this August, as reported by On The Radio.

Following in her footsteps, McFly's Harry Judd will take the reins when Josie's stint at Magic concludes on July 6.
