Lorraine is undergoing a huge format shake-up as the presenter will film from a different location next week.

On Wednesday (July 10), the 64-year-old will be hosting her self-titled daytime show from inside the walls of Buckingham Palace.

This marks a career milestone for the Scottish star as it's the first time she will be filming from the royal residence in her 40-year career.

Lorraine will be taking viewers inside the London landmark, giving them a tour and a first look at the room behind the iconic balcony in the newly opened East Wing.

A number of famous faces will be joining the ITV star in the special episode, including Gyles Brandreth, Tyler West, Ellie Simmonds, Dame Floella Benjamin, Royal Photographer Chris Jackson and Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke.

The announcement comes after Lorraine's co-star, Ranvir Singh, issued a health update online. The Good Morning Britain presenter, 46, regularly stands in for Lorraine when she is unable to film the ITV show.

Ranvir was due to appear on Tuesday's instalment (July 2) of GMB but was forced to pull out due to illness.

Taking to Instagram, the presenter told her followers: "I’m off @gmb ill right now .. trying to get better for General Election night..

"But a few weeks ago I had the bucket list moment of being in Dictionary Corner with @susiedent on the one and only #Countdown .. I’m on everyday this week at 2pm @channel4 .. I loved it!"

Ranvir's followers rushed to support her, with one writing: "Oh no sorry to hear you are poorly get well soon lovely." A second commented: " Oh no, hope it isn't anything to do with that ride you went on recently. Glad you got to carry out a bucket list moment."

Last week, Ranvir issued an important warning after she was subjected to an "unsettling" phone call where she was almost scammed.

The former Strictly star recalled the conversation she had with a man pretending to be a policeman. After confirming the last four digits of her bank card, Ranvir revealed her suspicion kicked in and she hung up the phone.

She later got her card changed after contacting her bank. At the end of the message, Ranvir wrote: "Phew," describing the ordeal as unsettling.
